Sarah Jessica Parker Lights Up the Empire State Building With a Classic New York Look

Itā€™s a bird, itā€™s a plane, itā€™sā€¦ Carrie Bradshaw atop the Empire State Building? Maybe not, but earlier today, Sarah Jessica Parker did have the honor of lighting up the Empire State Building for Valentine's Day. It was easy to mistake her for her iconic Sex and the City character, given she wore an elegant, pretty-in-pink look to flip the switch. But Parker is a stylish New Yorker in her own right, and more than dressed the part.

She wore a sequined coat and blush-pink dressā€”both vintageā€”and accessorized it with a pair of glitzy SJP Collection heels (Carrie would certainly approve of the bowed stilettos). Parker also wore Tiffany & Co.ā€™s dazzling necklace, earrings, and ring. Fitting, given she was lighting up the building Tiffany Blue in collaboration with the luxury retailer (the first time the Empire State Building has not been red on Valentineā€™s Day).

Speaking of V-Day, Parker could totally wear this ensemble out for date night with Matthew Broderick tonight for the romantic holiday. If youā€™re a West Village local, keep your eyes peeled if you see a fabulous coat at a restaurant like Morandi or Palmaā€”it may just be Parker hitting the town. Maybe you'll even spot her doing the Carrie run on the streets.
